Ok, Slightly better ad this time! (plus I cant find the other ad)

Location: Staffordshire Price: £ 250.00

Manufacturer: Elddis Berths: 4 Year: 1986

Specification Includes:

Fridge, Oven, Heater, 240v Power, Spare Wheel, No Smokers,

Description:

1986 Elddis Tornado, 4 berth. Very good for year but requires light tidying to make perfect. It looks very smart inside and out. Nice and dry inside. Two tables and benches fold down into a pair of double beds, very comfortable!

This is quite an old, basic caravan but would be ideal for the first time caravanner to see if caravanning is really for them.

The wife and I have owned this for a number of years, but lack of use forces a reluctant sale. We will be very sad to see it go. Its ready to go and could provide a nice holiday straight away!

£250 for quick sale, the space is needed!

The caravan is in Kidsgrove, north of Stoke on Trent

it looks great Tim but I've had a word with the mrs and checked out our house deeds and we would have the same problem as you...we can't store it here.

Cheers anyway.

Looks bob-on Tim. Good luck with the sale. Before anyone else asks: "D'ya like dags?" :D

It sold yesterday to a Retro Rider!

Kinda sad to see it gone but there was no real possibility of using it in the near future. Hopefully the new owner and his family will have lots of fun with it.

Storage:

I cant store a caravan on anything other than a hardstanding according to the nice man from the council responding to a neighbours complaint.

The thing about stuff in your deeds is that unless you are a leasehold its very very difficult to enforce - your neighbours would have to launch a civil action against you and that would cost £££££

Also check the wording of any covenants as they often apply to the first purchaser, but not subsequent purchasers.

Where I last lived in my home town, the houses were ex-council stock, dating back to 1949. I remember seeing on the deeds something about not keeping any kind of trailer on the forecourt (i.e. front garden), but since there were three caravans, two boats and at least one work-trailer visible from my front windows I didn't worry too much about my little trailer. Then I bought a caravan (there's a real ebay-shite story to that!) and kept it on the front garden too, along with the aforementioned trailer, my daily-driver Volvo, Mrs Ramrod's little Suzuki and my (abandoned-)project Plymouth copcar. There was never a word of protest.

Tim, that looks like a sweet van you sold!

Yeah it was OK! I'm glad its gone though, its not the kind of thing you can have sitting around doing nothing. They just start to go manky and fall to bits...
