Bought as a stop-gap off CCTone on RR back in early July, just a week or so before I mangled my left leg at work leaving me virtually housebound for 5 weeks....which, coupled with the fortnight in Cornwall I've just had, has meant that I've hardly used it. had I known all that was coming I wouldn't have bought it. It's a fine daily hack, it's just....not me. I've got Daddy Damaged's '98 Peugeot Partner on long-term lend at the minute and the option's there to buy it now, so this has got to go.

95N Cavalier 1800i 'Classic', which is one of the run-out models GM put out to clear stocks ahead of the soon-to-be-launched Vectra. Basically LS-spec without a rev-counter but with driver and passenger airbags and a sunroof. Finished in Nautilus Blue which is one of the nicest colours these came in, IMHO.

Taxed until 31 Jan 2011, MOT until 27 Nov 2010.

Just 70,650m (I'm using it occasionally for work, so this may go up slightly) from new with all old MOT's and a wad of bills to back the mileage....including a bill for a new water pump AND cambelt just 5000m ago. Something else you won't have to worry about. Drives really nicely for a Cavalier. Not the last word in driving dynamics but a great motorway cruiser. Good on fuel, too. My daily commute's a mix of motorway/A-road and I was getting about 40mpg out of it. But I drive like a grandad. First-time starter, I went out to it on Sunday afternoon and started it after three weeks laying idle and it sprang into life at the first twist of the key.

Very, very straight...the worst part of the car's where some scrotebag ran a key down the passenger's rear door when the previous owner had it. There's a matching parking scratch on the bottom of the same door as well!

The only two other grotty bits are pictured below...a small area of grot on the driver's side wheelarch:

And a small patch at the bottom of the NSF wing:

Both are isolated, the sills are in great shape and (unusually for one of these) the rear door shuts are completely grot-free.

Interior's nice and tidy, too, though could stand a clean if you're fussy. I'm not, as it's only been used to get me to work:

GOOD BITS:

Taxed and MOT'd, and ready to drive away.

Just 70k in the hands of three owners.

Just 5000m since cambelt change.

Comes fitted with a decent Sony Xplod CD/Radio, linked in to the stock 6-speaker system.

Central Locking

Front Electric Windows

Twin Airbags

Set of -40mm lowering springs in boot, ready to fit if you wish. or they would make amusing novely earrings for someone with an unfeasably large head.

BAD BITS:

Key damage to NSR door

Just two grotty patches of surface rust

Various small parking scratches (but not many considering it's just passed it's 15th birthday)

Slight oil weep from cam cover.

Erm...that's it.

Make me happy and take it away for just £375 or a reasonable offer. I'm not up for any swaps/PX I'm afraid, it's cash only.

Car's in Bromsgrove, which is just off J4 of the M5 and J1 of the M42, SW of Birmingham.

YAK! Another car I wouldnt have minded hooning around in, I really like those vauxhalls, they feel like they'll go on forvever, would have loved to tidy it up giffer style with some proper wheels trims and proper mats.

Some seriously good chod coming up for sale here of recent. Unfortunately, as it always goes with me, I've no money for vehicular purchases.
