A stripped scrappage casulaty maybe thats been sitting about, but not been crushed- they weren't all crushed

Didn't think they could be sold?

Seller def trying to sell this complete rather than as spares.

Well, from my understanding, they couldn't go back on the road ie lost there identity, but could be broken up as spares - which that car clearly has been looted of parts,so its a suspician maybe they want to get more money out of it,rather than frag it

Not a scrappage victim then, but a damned shame none the less. All old cars have a story to tell, and when I see something like that,it makes me wonder how a car ended its days in such a sad way.

Anyone remember a red? Six (or maybe an 18/85) for sale a while back that had plates welded over the front indicators and MG 1100 side lamps bolted in place?

I saw a picture recently, but can't find it now. I think it was on Flickr.

@ Keef.

Nope, the one I saw was more of a "Jewish Racing Gold†than Datsun yellow. I’ve only seen it the once...maybe it was visiting for a show?

Well you actually loads of classics and youngtimers around the Southdowns area in summer, so I’m guessing there’s lots of shows and meet ups.

I will sort that later...thanks, I was starting to forget it was there :P
