CITFEST - that's the word that sums up the latest Spotting expedition to Amsterdam, conducted over the weekend by myself and Mr H Sceptre.

And saving the best til last. This was immaculate inside and out. The best Citroen SM I've ever seen.

Bloody Norah, you found some right gems over there. I remember there being a lot of old motors about but nothing like this amount. I was fairly, er, distracted both times I was there though!

 

The Skoda 1100 Kombi thing is predictably my favourite of the bunch, it's the sort of thing I'd drive if I was going to drown some puppies in a canal. Which probably happens a lot in Amsterdam, come to think of it.

I had a go at logging some while I was in 'Dam back in April (becoming 30 years old), I got a few of yours (white Amazon, Pacer) but ultimately failed where you triumphed.

That Weissman sporty thing was on Top Gear IIRC, they liked it on the test, and then appeared again in the Motorhome racing episode, lurking under the "Ultimate" motorhome, you remember £750,000, plasma screens and illuminated taps??

Meh, Amsterdam...

Great spots, threads like this one mean I don't have to make spotting trips to the centre of town myself, I can stay in the quiet southern parts of town.
