I spend a lot of time daydreaming about owning one of these. Also GSAs and XMs.

I've owned a GSA and wasn't really sold.  That hydropneumatic waftiness suits a barge.  The XM is desirable for sure..  but the CX is something magical. Just look at that prefect side profile.

CX Gti Turbo (I or II) is simply the best car in the world, to my mind. Have owned 3 of them, would love another. 

I used to say a CX GTI Turbo and a Dyane are all the cars I would ever need ( i was young and dumb then and didnt realise sometimes you needed a van to carry stuff as well)

Biggest regret of my automotive career, selling this one,

Not a Turbo or even a Mk2, but this is 'Willesden', our 1984 CX Pallas IE 2400 automatic.

Many years having passed now since that photograph, he needs a new hydraulic pipe somewhere underneath, some TLC in the ignition department and a jolly good clean, but is still an awesome mile-eater in the most comfortable way.
