If there are no threads, how do I know the content of them?

You are mentioned via posts in  topics. There's no specific topic labelled Oui,Oui is a cunt etc, etc.

Well seeing as you imagined there was one, now you can feel smug knowing there now is one. Not created by me though, I wouldn't give you the satisfaction. Anyway, back on block you go.

This also needs done so I'll get him to do it at the same time:

I know a Vectra C is a sexy beast, especially in estate form, but that is a bit over the top even so.

That's the most jarring thing after driving dad's car then hopping back into mine 😂

I had a "moment" in the Rover the other day, after running around in the Leapmotor for a while.  Was trundling down the A11 on cruise, came up behind another car, and my brain went "WHY AREN'T WE SLOWING DOW...  oh."

No names on the screenshots shown to me by my manager and HR (outcome: "Your work is fine, keep getting it done to standard and on time, and try not to wind people up too much about extracurricular activities."), no names given in phonecall with the DWP (outcome: "We often get people trying to get people they dislike investigated, your medical records and initial assessment cover you.")

You're choosing to lie down with dogs and claiming to have strong views on fleas... The thread I mentioned is real, isn't it? If you're suddenly taking a principled stance after the fact, look at those contributing the most to it.

I'll admit that I'm hardly MENSA material, and I'm about as dense as Dianne Abbott's first Boxing Day dump, but how can you be sure the screenshots were sent by my loyal TDW subjects?

My stance regarding grasses hasn't changed at all.

Love that line 🤣🤣.

I've not been over there for a long time, which is my bad as it's a funny place to be fair for several things.

Must take a look later in the week, I've run out of things too look at on the internet tonight as it's been a relatively quiet one.

Given that they were screenshots of posts made on this small provincial forum, that those who are obsessed with me are members there, that they have history of hoarding and sharing screenshots, and the reactions made to the posts where I first mentioned it, they are the logical culprits. If I'm wrong then mea culpa.

For those who were wondering about portable hand controls...

This is impressive.  Would be ideal for my colleague who's broke his right foot.  Can you tell me where did you get that from please?

It was that one, though currently out of stock. They're normally £80-100 but it was reduced to £40 iirc.

Decent quality for something that's pumped out en masse in china.

Thanks for that.  I sent it to my mate but he just said it looks fucking dangerous! 🤣

I'd quite fancy the challenge of using it, though maybe not in Birmingham's rush hour traffic like my colleague would need to!

This has been doing sterling service over the last few days, done around 1,300 miles in it so far including two trips up north yesterday totalling 400+ miles and returning 42mpg. I paid £1.519/l for E10 at my local station, same place has diesel at £1.849/l. That makes 42mpg on petrol the same as about 51mpg on diesel by my reckoning. Not bad at all...

Fitha_oui_si has gone on the insurance 'just in case...' AKA 'so I can use it to pick up a load of scrap wood to build things with.'

You can fit a dishwasher, a washing machine, two TVs, a rice cooker, air fryer, microwave and kettle in it and still have room left over for three oak doors.

It also took a king size bed frame, headboard, my wheelchair and four Macan wheels with tyres on one of yesterday's trips.

Good car is good. It's getting treated to a new heater resistor and flap motor at the weekend. If I still like it after I'm settled in the new place then it'll get an alibabatastic android auto head unit and some cheap replacement speakers.

And maybe some coilovers.

And those Macan wheels.

You need to experience them sometime!

If you need to know whether the Vauxhall you've just bought is shit then simply do the following W.T.C testing formula.

How do you turn on the heated rear window?

Dedicated switch on the dash. Probably shit.

Pull out the fan switch? May not be shit. Investigate further by seeing how the interior light turns on. If it's activated by pulling out the headlamp swith then there's a good chance your Vauxhall probably isn't shit.

I drove BL stuff in the 80s, no wankier stalks than them.

Nothing wrong with BL stalks as long as they're securely mounted.

One touch indicators, like early XJ40s, totally shit and end up with you indicating the opposite when you try to cancel them.

Indicator stalk on a Trabant P601S has all the tactile qualities of the refill in a biro.

I take your biro refill and raise you the indicator stalk from a CityRover, a stalk cut so badly from its moulding and contains so much sharp plastic that it’s considered a knife in London and is illegal to carry a unattached from the car

Fitha_oui_si successfully replaced both the heater resistor (piece of piss) and selector motor which was an utter cunt of a job getting it off, and over an hour to get the new one in. You basically need two left hands both small enough to fit through the tiny sharp-edged gaps available to get the rear screw in - one to hold it in place and the other to turn the torx bit 5° at a time. Front screw is tight, rear screw is halfway in. That's good enough.

Clicking has gone, but the new resistor hasn't solved the fans-on-four issue.

Reading owners forums, the next logical step is to swap the small blue relay (part 13271984) and if that fails then swap the switch on the control panel itself.

Just got to get this eldritch abomination wiggled back into it's hole...
