What's this? It's mega swish!

Some kind of Peugeot,I think they came with the lights like that

It's a 1938 Peugeot 402, I saw it at the Nats last year, Mega head turnner, Here's a picture from Google of it with a trailer.

Spotted this in a diner on the A1 on the way back from Billing on Sunday evening. Saw a few of the attendees on their way home up North - passed a Charger towing a caravan and a really nice Challenger/Barracuda overtook me. Couple of WW2 Jeeps with no roof and hardy passengers braving the torrential rain too.

as promised

That is TEH SEX. 8)

If I could have my choice of any pre-war saloon car, the 402 would come top of the list. Then I'd want a 202 as well to pop to the shops in.

Some pictures from today's bilge-fest at Knebworth, these are the 'ooh' things, as I am sure you do not want to see rows of stags, mgb's or >10yr old TVR's....

Nice Granada on much-too-big wheels, about a 16in is perfect for these grannies. Think these were 19" or 20", which must also make it drive like a sack of shit.

Posted Image

Awesomely clag-laden R12, not a straight panel in sight!

Proper shite.

Posted Image

What is this? A holden?? It's very cool though, I would love something like this to burble down to the shops in.

Fiat 131, with impressively brown sills. A winter of welding for the owner of this.

Marina pick-up on rostyles, in baby poo gold, what is not to like?

Too jazzy?

I have just realised the comedic fat-old-man-arse shot on that last one. LOL.

Victor. Please note numberplate and appearance of small dog in shot are entirely coincidental.

Another Victor. FD wagon this time.

Moar FD wagons, make me moist

...and this slaoon caused unexpected spaffage. Very very nice.

"Coupe de Shite"

Imaging rolling about in this! About as cool as it gets.

And to finish, a nice Beta on late Alfa rims, good work.

Posted Image

Took the family to try and get some ideas / feedback on what old cars might be 'acceptable', kids were more interested in ice-cream and viewing the giant plastic dinosaurs, so really didn't get to see everything.... did come away with a nice Mk1 Escort and Ser VI Morris Oxford (vanguards, 1:43 scale).

Nice pictures Pog, Love the Old Renault ones.

This bloke seems to get everywhere!, Must of seen it about 6-7 times this year already at shows!

I have a load i took today from a show, I'll upload them tomorrow.

Great minds think alike, expect a few doubles, I'm uploading now....

L!O!L! Good to see shite like the R12 in a show.

GR8 PICS POGZBURY, STAND AT EASE THAT MAN - that beta on the alfa 145 wheels looks 'INTERCOOLER_ACE'.

Difficult to say. There seem to be far more Viceroys about as they pop up at shows quite often. Mind you all the Tagoras seem to be owned by the fella in Stevenage and he can't drive them all at once eh?! :P

Bit rubbish at spotting of late, but here's a couple to keep things rolling...

Abandoned Minor found round the back of a local business.

OHO!

Here are some Skodas. This is a cheat though as they belong to fellow shiter DaveRapid. I snapped them furtively whilst he was busy printing me a nice MoT fail sheet....

And I really don't know where to begin with this hideous pile of chod...

Posted Image

Yes, that's right. An LDV sherpa thing painted to vaguely resemble a ladybird. There was also some sort of expensive sportscar (aston?) parked very close by, so I looked like a right nutter snapping away at this.

Ah! I know the owner/have driven this Renner 6, it's a beeootay! I thought I recognised the red 16 as well - it was on a Renault Car Club stand at the France Show, Earls Court, in January.

Posted Image

Yeah, the 6 belongs to the guy that runs the Chevronics centre, name escapes me at the minute, but a decent chap. He sold me a ropey hillman a couple of years ago.

Rob Moss Esquire. Know him well, Chevronics restored my GSA.Mark.

These ace spy pictures were taken by Mrs_Pog, I was driving and struggling to keep my utter excitement under control.

'NHK' registration, Consul GT in bronze, about as sweeney as you can get without being yer actual...

Maybe they were cruising the motorway looking for the Jag S-type I have seen 4 or 5 times on the same stretch recently....[/img]

Love the progressivly closer photos, just like the beginning of the programme but of the back of the car.

Get yer trousers on son.... yer nicked...Top spot there Pog.

Even got a nice grainy quality to them, nice one!Or is that just the effect of a quick-clear windscreen?...

The latter I'm afraid. Ford's answer to those 'stereogram' pictures. That said despite the potential distraction, it's one hell of a good bit of kit in the winter. Why does no-one else do it?

That brings back memories....past my driving test in my old mans Renner 6.

Shame theres so little around these days, also like the 16's as again my old man had a few of these over the years.

Just seen this. It's a Holden Kingswood From late 70's and could be either 3.3 six or a V8
