Picked it up on Sunday. 63k miles, mature couple owners with a stack of history. Goes like stink and nothing's broken on it yet. I'm over the moon! :D

I love those! Is it a 20v Turbo? I also love the colour coded dashes in them as well.

actually a really nice change to see a totally unmodified one of these :D

It is a really stunning design, I was fawning over one in a car park recently. It looked almost alien compared to all the modern blobs.

Nice buy!

I rate them.

My Mrs has a yellow 20vt (for hooning) and a yellow 16v n/a (for mileage).

Both are brilliant to drive, comfy and virtually depreciation free.

Find a knowleadgeable mechanic though; he'll tell you the cambelt isnt that difficult, you dont need to takeout the engine, and it can be done in around 4 hours. As opposed to the ill-educated horror stories.

Have fun

Looks cracking :) Are you meant to park it in the entrance to the park like that though?

Did about 90 miles in it today and the interior fan has packed in. No doubt the start of things to come

Totally not working or only at top speed? The former, check for a blown fuse and blocked cabin pollen filter*. If the latter, resistor pack.

*if the filter is blocked, the motor will have to work really hard.

Thanks, Ash. It was making a shocking grinding/sqeaking noise then just stopped on all settings. I'll have a look this weekend

A nice buy! Gorgeous tan leather too!. I've only ever saw a few with tan leather - much nicer than black. It suits green well.

I must admit I thought that these looked awful when they first come out, but I think they've aged considerably better than almost anything else launched at it’s time. They're really grown on me over the years. :)

There's a very similar one on eBay at the moment on an 'R' plate for well under a grand at the moment, but it's done over 100k.

have had a few of these,so i do approve,looks like a 6 speeder?

I used to really like these, however I went off them slightly after a test drive/closer look but there's still part of me that wants one.

Good luck with it.

I like these. Avis had a few when I worked there, they went well.

I'd love one but I don't think I'm brave enough. Especially if the timing belt or clutch need replacing.............

16v clutch or belt is no more difficult thant a vectra/mondeo,as has been said somebody with half a clue knows that engine does not need to come out to do the belt on the 20 valve models.

good forum for them aswell.

20vt was the fastest production front driver when launched.

That looks great! 8)8)8) I'm jealous.

Fiat Coupé - one of the few cars that was discontinued long before its time was up, imho.
