Ride home fairly uneventful. 

Got lost and ended up on a different route home as my list taped to the dash of the bike vanished when I gave it some beans. 

I swear every driver in Liverpool was heading to Preston. 

Went through one of the tunnels (I think I went down the M53 the wrong way and came out at the Kingsway tunnel) certainly makes sense as I found myself in Everton. 

Eventually found the M57/8 and by default the M6. 

Indicated 70 on the speedo and was able to overtake HGVs more comfortable at 60 to 65.

 

Things to do. 

Have a look at the brake switch / inhibitor for the starter. 

Fit a manual seat latch wire.
