Thats a real find!! It always amazes me when these 'never used' ultra low mileage things turn up....can't believe it has just languished for 40 years with no-one wanting to do anything with it!!

Worth £50,000? Dunno...certainly unique!! 8)

It is stunning, but even people in the bus scene don't think it's worth 50 large.

I can´t imagine why someone bought a new bus and did not use it or sell it on. :?:

That has been for sale for more than a year now, He'll have it another 40 years before someone gives 50 large for it!

Why would you buy a new coach and not use it?

I do like that, and I'm not a bus pervert.

£50k seems a tad on the high side, but I suspect it would probably get £30k with no problem.

I've seen that before but its still a deeply nice thing. £50k seems a lot for it though especially as if you use it much then its value can only go down but its a bit big for it to just be parked up, polished and taken out once or twice a year.

I used to go to school on one like that - very nice!

How much is a 'new' coach these days?

£150k minimum I'm told, though not checked anywhere to see if that's right or not.

Fifty large is a bit much for this one (as stunning as it is) because it probably can't be used daily due to H&S Nazis and if used for car shows it would surely devalue it?

Whatever, it's bloody lovely and the kind of thing I'd buy if I won the lottery or some shit like that.

If they keep it another 40 years it will be nearly old enough for Stagecoach to use on school runs and rural routes.

"Hang on lads, I've got an idea"

Wonder how it handles on Alpine routes? Not the same, I know, but it would be great to chuck a couple of Binis out the back..... then go reload and do it some more!

Thats a museam piece really. But what sort of a BUS PERV buys a brand new coach, then never uses it?

Surely privately owned all its life, as no commerical business would leave a coach sitting around depreciating in the hope that it may one day be worth a few quid, when it could be out earning its keep.

I imagine there was some cock up in the sale and it stayed in limbo long enough to become a museum piece.

Why not ask the seller?

What issues would the H&S Nazis have with the bus being used?

Its an amazing find though,i remember going on school trips in these things in the early-mid 70's,and i dont think ive seen one since.

Don't they have to safety belts etc these days and be all emission friendly?

can't see there being a H&S risk - plenty of 'vintage bus' tour companies in Scotland - quite why you would want to drive to Oban with yer erse being pummled by a wooden bench at 40mph is beyond me but each to their own - anyway such companies don't seem to ire the thought police - maybe alternate rules apply -

given these guys are commercial dealers I suspect they will just hold out till the buyer comes along - unlikely to lose money if cared for in current state - Someone out there will want it
