20 mins away, think I will pop in for a mooch in my laguna 2008. Is it in the airport or the auction site ?

I would love to take the Safrane on a decent trip. However I’m working, just a bit cheesed off about that. Maybe there will be another meet later in the year 🤞

Weather looking a little better. Pouring down now though.

I never tire of seeing J732DUU as it was my first car which I drove to Scotland less than week after passing my test.

I will buy it if and when the owner sells.

Only spoke to him briefly, sounded like he was from the West Country. He’s taking it over to France to the Arras classic car retro soon.

Brilliant. Time to give the Safrane a polish then.

1984 I went to a big international Citroen car clubs rally at Knebworth with my dad.  IIRC the actual Bond 2CV film car was there, having been bought by a member from the props company.  I might even have a pic somewhere, but after 40+ years I may have lost them.

There are a few film cars about. Nigel in the ccc has the GS four cylinder one in his church barn, never to see the light of day again in his lifetime. I’ve not asked Jim about it, but his doesn’t look original to me - round headlamps, wing repeaters and the small speedo push button dash.
