I was supposed to collect this car last Sunday, but had a stinking cold and could hardly see, so had to postpone.

I'm currently ensconced on the 7:09 from silica bovine central, and the second part of the journey is shown as cancelled 🤣

Managed to get a seat upgrade - it's not booked until Penrith

On a slightly related note. Google removing the 3.5mm jack from the Pixel phones is a fucking shambles - can't charge and listen to tunes at the same time!

Aye - but ye're noo sooth aw the border - be careful.......
(and Google copied Apple with the jack - or vice-versa - that way we'd all run out and buy ear buds and ditch the wired jobs. Tight arse here (and many others) just bought the 50p adapter - I have seen  adaptors that double up on the iPhone - dunno if they do them for Android stuff)

Last Saturday I was on a Transport for Wales train over to that there England and there were no working USB chargers in our carriage. Much unhappiness from Christmas shopping masses.
I had my super-duper Chinesium jump start thingy with me. Much happiness.

I have probably killed the wire next to the plug on wired headphones over 50 times, fixed it dozens of times for friends and got many nice freebies that suffered the same fate. 
No cable to break with the Bluetooth ones, so I’m taking that as a huge win. I got galaxy buds plus 5(?) years ago, and they’re still around. I don’t think any of my headphones survived that long without getting at least a single jack replacement.

It's actually in fucking tremendous shape and drives REALLY well. Been a while since I have driven something that's not worn out.
