What would you buy?

Thought we could play a little shite car related game to divert away from the grumpy threads lately.

You have £6000, the amount a decent secondhand family car costs, to buy whatever car or cars you would like using www.ebay.co.uk (Using only completed items, BIN or classified listings), www.carandclassic.co.uk or www.autotrader.co.uk.

The only rules are the car must be moted and running and be a decent alternative to a family modern motor (so NO Stanley Steamers or Peels), and you can buy more then one car and bonus points for wackiness!.

Mine are:

I don't care if it's as rotten as a pear underneath, It' still beautiful!.

Mk1 Cortina 1500 for £1890

I've always wanted one of these i hope to find one one day that's affordable and not rotten, Here's to hoping!.

That leaves me £360 to keep them running.

well neither of us can have it, it's already been sold. And I can't drive. It is pretty bloody immense though innit?

FMR_owner, That Armstrong-Shiteley is superb, just look at those awful stick-on rear lights! I bet that would cause some beards to be sullied by angry drivel/dribble at the next A-S club meet!

I would buy every one of the cars I chose but the Visa and AS346 would be top of the list!

God, Some of you guys have great taste! 8) , That Daimler is lovely, Think I'd go for a nice grey or even Blue personally, And Brammy I was looking a Sierra for my choice as well, I still love them, They maybe even one of Ford's best cars IMHO.

Me being me, I'd have to go for something juicy and expensive to run, so....

For fun little play thing, I'd add this to my collection at £995

Leaves me with £2060 which I'd use for storage/servicing costs.
