Relay update.

 

Just had a PM from P Weasel Esq, I will be driving up to Burton on Trent tomorrow night to pick up the (now legendary) banner.

 

I shall post on this thread tomorrow night night once the exchange is complete to arrange the next leg of the mission....

When is this needed for? I'm able to do a relay between West Yorkshire and the M6/M56/A55 next Saturday - I've got an appointment inside a mountain near Llanberis at 1.30pm on the Saturday.

I'm hoping that Mr Sceptre doesn't decide to tie it to his exhuast to drag it behind and spread the A-S word, 'cos it might get accidently wrapped up in a hydragas sphere and cause him a bumpy ride.

Not a problem Mr Lobster, just thinking it's a shame the banner is not being used were instead any meets that do go ahead might aswell use it .

 

By all means scrap the idea.

But speaking to Mr H, and he seemed okay with it and infact EL sounded glad that the forum may actually have afew photos of the Banner, shite and members all in one.

It might well be alright to show it at a few shows but given that we were fairly likely to upset the neighbours in their executive, town centre apartments at Q Park anyway, I wouldn't think unfurling a banner with the legend "Autoshite" on it would go down that well really.

Is deffo better that the banner gets an airing rather than sitting in m'colleague's boot. I guess its up to you guys where you take it, but I'm personally of the opinion that 'its a free country & all that' & bollox to stuffy folk who dont like it. Its not like it rude or particularly offensive. Thats just me though.

Hey MM, I *might* be able to get it over to you Thursday. I'm in Liverpool Thursday morning but I'm not quite sure how the day will pan out but might be able to drop it off if things go to plan. Otherwise I can probably drop it in with you next week as a trip over to the Wirral ain't that far out of my way.

 

Leave it with me a day or two, I see what develops.
