I've not paid over £450 to get to the States for the last 4 years. Aer Lingus is pretty good, with the advantage of clearing US Immigration in Dublin, which saves time at the other end. 

If you book approx 5/8 months in advance, you seem to get the best deals. I've booked for Los Angeles in May (which is becoming an annual thing) with KLM, which was £436

 

East coast would be better for the old Jetlag, but I only tend to suffer coming back this way anyway. Looks like a top trip! Only visited South Carolina and Philadelphia on the east side.

epic fail at giacapazzis cos i read it as 1030 they didnt open till1130

gave up and headed via not the a1 to scotch corner - stopped last night
