Wow! Seems like the Isle Of Wight is really good for spots! Seems to be alot of abandoned stuff, considering the size of the place, i will have to go there soon! Shame about the abandoned Stellar...

Posted

More from the Isle of Luxton, I think I have worked out the sort of stuff that you like so here's a further selection....

Yep, I reckon you've got it pretty right!

Took me a minute to work out what this one actually was!

And what birds do you have on the Isle of White, fuggin Albatross?

Posted

Some top spottage there! Lada reminds me of the one I had many years ago...

And am I right in thinking that Vauxhall E-type is an eary one, with that small back window?

Posted

Jack, me owd mate, 340s aren't shite, they're just plain cack.

Except for Dicky P's 18000 mile white one which is mint cack.

But the rest of the cars in Luxton district would appear to fit the bill doubly well.

A Fiat 127, which has to be the version with the little catflap boot opening and not the hatch, in brush painted black that's flaking off to expose the original yellow paint beneath, which doesn't have a single straight panel and which has been used for spear-throwing practice by a bunch of kids from the Northern Counties School for the dull of thinking......

Now that, my son, is shite. Possibly.

It's good to see your horrible spots, Jack, long may it last.

Quality shite spotted there. Was that a Stellar in there? Somebody on here really needs to get one..

Posted

Since I took that picture someone has washed the Stella.

Why is the World full of spoil sports eh? :x

Posted

O M G!!!!1!!

Skoda, Lada, Stellar, Maestro, Princess...I really am speechless

I know where I'll be spending my holiday next year 8)

Posted

Quality spottage, thanks for sharing. SO many good ones.

Posted

Stellar work!

(can you see what I did there...)

I like how the dead RX7 is looking at a pile of piston engines.

Also the BOGOF Wolsely crab and Metro driving spot. :D

Posted

Hi Seth :D

Crab is towing the Metro on a trailer (like you do). :)

Shame about this. I think good ones are changing hands for pretty serious money these days...

Top spots!

I'm struggling to recall when I last saw a Skoda Estelle on the roads, or anywhere else for that matter.

:D I want metal plates like that on mine, cannot find any place that sells them :(

Posted

There's a set of metal plates on that red one, just there look.

Vogue and Super Minx for me please.

Posted

Minimad5 (please JHT, forgive my putting this in your thread), there's always CHESTNUT, who are on an 0151 number, so probably not too far from your area.

They do all sorts of plates, including those pressed ones in reflective style for top grade shite motors, I've had four sets of plates from them since 2006 and they've done me proud every time.

Come to think of it; JHT, did you not buy your new ones for your, erm, bus from them?

Posted

Ahhh that Mk1!

I pretty sure it's now gone as that place used to be a plant nursery, last time I passed there it looked as though it had become a garden centre for all those fans of Mr Tittymarsh and his cohorts.

(please JHT, forgive my putting this in your thread).

You are forgiven my Son.

Come to think of it; JHT, did you not buy your new ones for your, erm, bus from them?

Yes they did indeed come from there through your very own recommendation my Sienna coloured friend :D

Posted

One from the side of the road (or should that be the gutter?) for today...

Imagine having to be told that you have to drive THAT all day and then find out it had THAT written on it?

Some SHITE jobs about aint there?

Posted

What is wrong with Will Young ?

I have a collection of his Songs on my external HDD

Does this now mean i have to leave Autoshite .... :( ?

Posted

Yeah I think you'd better leave right now;

before you fall any deeper...............

OK, its late and I've had 3 cans of Fosters, somebody had to say it eventually

Posted

The same car surely? :(

I have to look at my monitor from an odd angle (chin on the table) but the stonechip on the rear valence of the scrapper can be seen to continue round and over the NSR arch - just as on the OS arches on the 'runner'.
