Successful trip home, definitely need to do the transfer box but it didn't miss a beat. Or a gap in traffic. I did wind the front windows down when about to pass a traffic officer though 😂

Closed, sliding, but not fixed as if you try and sync it/open to vent position it jams again. Common fault, a rebuild kit is available and I'll do it after I've sorted the transmission
