Calum_B Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Well, sifting through my pooter I found some spots I thought I'd share!! Most taken on phones n that. 2.8 Ghia - smart! This has since been repainted. Still has the comedy wonky plate. Couple of vans at the side of the canal "only needs an hour or two to make it mint" says the owner... err... yeah. This Alpine passed as I was coming out of the paper shop - leaped in the A40 and drove after it, crap pic though. Saw these two outside a local body shop as I was passing. The Estelle was fantastic! Great way to carry sofas This thing is AMAZING. Owned by the parent/grandparent of some student in my accomodation, I see it a bit but always miss it for shots! Arches seem to be done in cement, all different colours, shite as you like. Old boy drives in a flat cap n big NHS glasses too - win. Autoshite does holidays. Lovely! Impromptu autoshite show. I love autojumble car parks!! *ruins pants* http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6639.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6640.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6642.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6643.jpg*sigh* http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6646.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6648.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6656.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6662.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6664.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6669.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6685.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6684.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6686.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6692.jpgVery early? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6703.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6704.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT6710.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7154.jpgMmmmmmmm Harvest Gold.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7156.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7161.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7164.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7162.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7163.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Calum/Autoshite/PICT7168.jpg This thing was immaculate. Never seen one so tidy. Old boy owner, probs had it since new for going to the shops/post office for pension n that
trigger Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Dear god!, There's some class A shite in that lot!, That Transit & Mini photo looks period, Not recent!
Captain Mainwaring Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Fantastic spots! Alfasud and comedy Beetle for me, please!
r.welfare Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 That Rekord estate was still in the hands of the original owner when I last saw it in 2006, he must be getting on a bit now. At the time he and I owned all the Rekords (three in total!) in the Autobahnstormers club. The car's a bit rough up close!
Captain Mainwaring Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Surprising what a digital camera can do for a car's appearance, isn't it? It looks like a proper minter. In addition to what I posted before, I'll have the SM and XJS cabby as well please!
Calum_B Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 I don't remember the Rekford being that tatty tbh, I do remember seeing it and thinking, I bet I can count all the ones that are left on one hand I think it must be the same chap who has it he was quite old. The pic was taken at Hebden Bridge last year.
Gompo Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Cools pics.I really want to like those SS1 Scimitars, there's one for sale nearby, but they just look too awkward. They do seem to go quite well and I imagine handle nicely too.
barrett Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 All of these are great, but i'll take the lovely black Ami 6 thanks.... wasn't it on ebay last year actually, for about 4k iirc?
Jon Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Some top spots there, but what's with the roof of the yellow Dyane about half way down the page? Some sort of pop-top camper conversion?
seth Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 ZOMG! J is very late for a round light grille I think. I love the size of that display board next to the MGB.
Calum_B Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 Didn't notice the roof on the Dyane, not even sure I got a picture of it (probably just thought it was a boggo Dyane ) Autojumble today, only a few spots in the car park though. This was lovely!! Never seen one with this roof before, these really are nu-shite! And the jewel in the crown.... Check out the panelwork:Nice!!
barrett Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 What kind of deranged mentalist puts wires on a mk3 Capri?? Absolutely brilliant!
Captain Mainwaring Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 That tracked Army looking thing on a Q plate behind the Ami looks quite interesting. Anybody know what it is?
Calum_B Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 Hagglund BV206 ;)The Ami was indeed on ebay last year, it was immaculate - really good example indeed
Captain Mainwaring Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 What kind of deranged mentalist puts wires on a mk3 Capri?? Absolutely brilliant! And a pretty shagged one as well. Same kind of mentalist who'd also put a big fuck off spoiler over the rear screen, I s'pose.A great big high five to whoever owns it!
Calum_B Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 Some more little bits of late Early on a W plate? Not sure when they same out though to be honest... These two were immaculate The colour made this Alfasud even better. OMG PANTERA DIMEBAG DARRELL RIP ZOMGZ!211 etc. This seems to get everywhere RAT L@@K This, I just wanted to drive home there and then. It was so ace. Please tell me this awful colour scheme wasn't a dealer optional one. Massive dyke-wagon.
Lukas Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 The early Vitaras all were like that. There was even a special-edition called the "Suzuki Vitara George Michael". No choke!
Calum_B Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 Selection of stuff I have spotted over the last few months but not posted... Still taxed and on the road Sherpa fire appliance which was immaculate! Crap walking-to-the-pub photo. Need to get a pic in the light really... Drove past it in the A40 today on my way back from Tesco, and it is now joined by a rather tasty looking two-tone SD1
Split_Pin Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 That Metro is ace. I'm sure its the base model (there is actually a more basic model than the city!) as it only has 1 rear fog light and I mirror. Mum_L had one of these back in the day in 'Oporto Red'. The spec was tres piss-pauvre.
Calum_B Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 Couple sat on a local farm. PL8 4 wuvvum On the same farm, a MF 135 INSIDE the house This place always has at least one classic around, and usually some shite old lorries. Saw this in Sheffield the other day, coming back from the bank. Had Del-Boy style tigerprint seat covers Seen some others that I haven't managed to get pics of. The usual scatterings of Moggies, MGBs etc, but nothing of great interest.
Calum_B Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 ^ Funnily enough I went down that street on monday afternoon and the P6 was nowhere to be seen. I can only hope it was parked outside Netto or Wilkinsons or some other shite shopping venue. It is even there on street view, so it must live there! Just remembered a single street I saw on streetview here in Sheffield containing a DeLorean, a crusty silver Mk3 Crapi, a beige/grey Robin/Rialto, Mini, Scorpio and I hope even more
