Rusty Pelican Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Not sure but not as bad as I thought , Il need to pop back now and again for another look , Id leave them on for a good few weeks , they will either look better and better or they wont , not shocked by the look though which is good ------------ isnt it !!!!!!!
GJR 11L Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 You could fit a bus in the gap between arch and tyre! Yeah, but only until the hubs fall off as a result of that offset on bearings that weren't built to take it, then a Rizla would be the most that would fit the space available, one of the blue ones at that. Sorry Alan, the slot idea works nicely (on any car, yes, including a split new Bentley...), IMHO, but they need much more rim inboard of the hub centres. Go on, 'fess up, it's a sod to steer now, ain't it?
pandamonium Posted April 24, 2010 Author Posted April 24, 2010 Go on, 'fess up, it's a sod to steer now, ain't it? Nope.If the wheel bearing goes, I'll replace it. A small price to pay for making the car the way I want it. I'm probably going to fit a coilover kit to to make the ride height adjustable. And just to add my opinion to the mix..........I flipping love it!!!!
pandamonium Posted April 24, 2010 Author Posted April 24, 2010 I always use this site to work out wheel calculations before I change anything...www.willtheyfit.com Screenshot... (btw it already had a speedo error as the Primera steels were 65 profile too)
BrianDamaged Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 And just to add my opinion to the mix..........I flipping love it!!!!Your opinion's the only one that matters. As KFW said on RR.... 'choppy choppy chop-chop'

whitevanman Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Yup, I think it needs lowered abit more as well or taller tyres
pandamonium Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 Go on - have a go at me! ps. I'll have some standard suspension components arriving soon, so nothing is irreversable.
outlaw118 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Cool as......(insert choice of expletive here...)I like it, and as long as you do, bollocks to everyone else.Is all reversible anyway, so who cares?!
Parky Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Gets my vote, I reckon that looks pretty good!Only reservation would be ride height but thats more to do with the fact that I like a bit of spring in my springs! And anyway, its nothing that cant be returned to standard easily enough....
GJR 11L Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Dammit. I like the way that sits now! All of a sudden it makes some kind of sense.
