Basically Tap Pub Eastham.

 

Throw it into Google maps and use street view.

Fantastic little place.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at the Trafford Centre, the American Auto Club North West meets there so they understand old cars already. Also the 8 Towers pub at Widnes, same applies.

 

Watanabe, when you said Thatch and thistle I thought for a moment you meant the one in Southport... I used to live round the corner from it! In fact I remember the previous pub on that site, the Blowick! I feel old... again!

Next month has the New Brighton Stages car rally. Plenty of parking plus bonus overpriced burgers and RWD Escorts to look at.

I thought that was cancelled now as the organisers have called it a day (after 60 years or whatever) - also the council have sold out to Morrisons/Tesco/Asda and they probably don't want any activities there ever again.

I'm glad it's still on, it really is amazing watching old shite shooting up and down the promenade.
