Re 'fogging'... *note Not 'dogging', though steamy windows likely too! 🤣

.... If we crack 1/8" of the passenger front window whilst trundling along, then the fogging quickly clears (full through air IS selected). I will report after Cabin filters changed...

Must be a common issue, my Getz looks like a steamy shower after a few minutes in the rain

Yeah all sounds the same as mine,  now I just get a tiny patch where the LH wiper changes direction on the screen.

#confession time# 🙉🙈🙊....

I'm having a 'stalling issue' 😮

...... Having come over from an Auto + I can't hear/feel (aka 'rough as..') engine revving, I have bogged/stalled at least twice 🤦.

My 'history' of clutch torture is fairly blameless... Very Short intro/no howling and off we go.

I have read of troubles experienced by learners, passing on a Big Torque diseasl, and being unable to launch a Wimp petrol 🤣🤣

...... This car is SO out of my comfort zone 🥰

Oh Fu#k...... I haven't had my wheels off [... yet!] but Interweb points to my Getz having Drum/Discs at the rear 😧

Are these likely to generate the level of MOT aggravations legend would fortell 😕

Ohhhhh...... Scores on the Doors 😳

60k/17yr.... Factory belt, they reckon 💥😮

Slick sheen, like a Latin American dancers quiff + barcode/cracked backside 🛠️

Kit in + oil/air ✔️

..... I can NOW find out what this "free revving, moreso than 1600, due to Oversquare dimensions" equates to 🎱

Deffo dodged the bullet.....

Leaping onto a 'sunny period', twixt downpours.... 🙄

I drilled out the centre of the 'aerial stub' (snapped flush when I got the car) up to 3MM >> ragged the M4 tap in >> screwed the stepped/threaded adapter & finally, the BeeStingger 🛠️👍

Ahh..... Bright sunny morning = paint!!

I'm going to paint the backsides of my wheels and leave them out... It's 'direct to metal' Matt black, touch dry 90mins.

We'll see if the CurrantBun can manage to stay out till 12 noon 🙄

I've got a new set of rear discs for a Picanto in the shed, which, might be the same fitment as the Getz?

The brakes on the Picanto with the 4 discs were fantastic, so much so that they reverted to drums, due to complaints from owners

I had a rental Getz when I was working in Israel during 2004/2005 and thought it was a very decent little runabout.

Would do an indicated ton and MPG was pretty good but all costs were found by my employer anyway.

A few years back, on the eBay thread, there was a black Getz that had done something like 475,000 miles, or thereabouts, so there should be plenty of mileage left in that motor, as long as you keep the tin worm at bay! 😉

My aunt drove one 7 miles with no oil pressure and it survived. Never really sounded right again, but it lasted a few more years.
