tooSavvy
This rather down-at-heel 1.1 was already at the pub... ..... More dents in the roof than an Ulstermans lambeg! 😮 privatewire and AnnoyingPentium

This guy agrees to 'approximation' but, essentially, some number [..trends] is better than none 👍 https://youtu.be/tHNARNPFu8A?si=7kUJe3LdG6bFN8aP 🚙💨 So ... Results *partially, are in 😐 18.2 cold water tap running 24.2 ambient (see thermo display) 48.0 hot full cup, direct from kettle boil 85.0 immersed in hot, direct from kettle boil The area I'm most concerned about is the ability of the sensor to 'sense/register' a high temp (water) through a vessel wall (cup) 😕 I don't know how to discover the 'sensor spec' but they can be got as a 'washer tab' style - to bolt flat faced onto the 'hot' part... I may just buy one and run an identical set of tests 😉 *Power courtesy of SKY 12V router supply. ...... This, for instance, has the sensor in a splodge of resin (not a metal tube!) egg

tooSavvy
Interesting feature, but no details 🙈🙉🙊 ..... my brake master cyl/servo is infront of the n/s passenger. I'm aware a fair number of car makers will [if not re engineering/no actual room] link the brakes across with a tube/bracket set up. I haven't actually looked under the dash space 'for proof'.... but I'm finding the parts book pdfs show no brake assembly for RHD cars = the pedal clevis goes directly into servo/pushrod LHD. Not a frequently bought part, agreed, but there must be some jiggery-pokery around setting pedal height RHD v LHD.... 🤔
tooSavvy
I have a loose assortment of drills, a box set up to 10mm. But no 12mm 😕 My gear ball is a bit crook as, both the thread is wrong + the gearstick[12mm] is threaded high up into the factory knob. My plan was to just unscrew the factory one and wizz this on.. 🙄 I'm going to chop the threaded end off (cut wheel / Dremel*clone) and drill out the knob to 12mm = press on! 👌 privatewire and egg
tooSavvy
Knob 2 Order 👌🎱 ..... making ball hole larger/deeper 12mm. egg and privatewire
tooSavvy
I had to 'double-up' to my dodgy old 13MM chuck, for drilling the gear ball 12MM. The machine only has a 3/8" chuck.... Ordered N.O.S. Milwaukee 13MM @£10 .. 1/2"*20 thread. Drill chuck just 'crashed' through letter box 👌. Bonzza 🚙💨 RayMK and privatewire

I have sweated these last two days on an eBay bid 😮 Closed - winner @£5, delivered 🥳 2" balls.... let's see which one suits my gearstick best 🤣🤣 🚙💨 AnnoyingPentium and egg
tooSavvy
Went to fit the mudflaps, on the front... ACE 👍 (.... on the drivers side, screws came straight out 🥳/) Ooops 😕 .... Passenger side screws just whizz round in plastic clips. Will be Dremel *clone the heads off/have ordered pk. new clips £3.75 🙄 F..F..S.. 🚙💨 Is there a viable option to 'yark out' the panhead, with pincers... or likely thin wing edge metal nastiness 🤦 egg
