bigstraight6 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Love these - one of ERF's best-looking lorries and it has the growly Gardner Oh yes, the ERF 'A' series is a lovely looking lorry, and with a Gardner motor is just perfect!
Split_Pin Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 The blue standard example is lovely, but not really shite imo - too 'classic' for that! However, I'd like to drive around in the orange one, shouting at pikies, pretending to be Viv from the 'young ones'. Or something.

Or something. You'd need a yellow Anglebox to truly be like Viv! I actually saw the one they used in The Young Ones parked up in Wandsworth back in 1986. Got some pics of it up in the loft I believe.

Albert Ross Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 How on earth did you get it into your loft to take pictures?
Guest Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Heres proof you should never listen to a dealerI stopped this being scrapped in 2001-still with some tax+testOne of our customers was told it would never pass another mot and he was sold a corsa combo at dealers prices-scrap the escort we dont want it they said.Bought by my mate for £80 he tested it after a few months use-needed two very small bits of welding/new steering rack. Then sold on.And here it is still about 8 years later! Dealers!
