The last one is a Princess vanden plas surely?

Convergence - or plagiarism, though GPT claimed not to have found the source, and it consistently ignored my original prompt which called for a wedge nose which did a similar trick to Mattin's W210 E-Class - making an almost Citroen XM pointy nose height and low scuttle retain the grille and gravitas of the Mercedes tradition.

The brief was that Rolls Royce wants a SAAB rival - but reality being reality, it's based on the under-used Ambassador's hardpoints and floorpan with an RR-developed V6 (again, totally ignored spec as I'd wanted 2.5 or 3.0).

The likeness to the unreleased 18-22 Van Den Plas Princess is both inevitable and amusing, but trying to force it to put the RR signature on the form resulted in the 6000SUX tribute act and this hilarious homage to the MCW Metrocab.

One of my weird obsessions is "why didn't GM give SAAB some US platforms?"

Usually this focuses on two in particular.

Fiero

And dustbuster.

It's struggling with this. So far I have a Kia Sedona with a late 9000 nose 😕

Dash design is roughly right - but GPT is dumb and can't preserve details in 3D space, just renders plausible "dashboard" so I gave up arguing with it.

Douglas Adams' description of obtaining tea from the computer predicted AI behaviour amazingly well, specifically the detailed back story/history/weight and substance of a thing.

Show it those adverts from the 80’s and 90’s where the car sort of turns into a jet and takes off. Then watch all of google’s services slow to a halt as it try’s to produce a really convincing image of a SAAB/pignose firebird

If ChatGPT is asked for a viable reskin of a BMW XM to create a "crossover inspired by the Austin Allegro" it comes up with this:
