I believe one of the couple of drivable ones was equipped as per gen ones ( not that much to fit really unlike now) also they were pale yellow rather than white as it showed whiter on screen.

Shamelessly stolen from @Peter C’s thread but I feel needed adding here, for those who didn’t see it. Peter managed to snap this on the M25 last Monday:

A genuine ex-traffic car, now available for event hire apparently. All the kit is still installed and working. Amazing spot!

So no longer owned by police?

If so should have lights & police covered when on public highway.

It has got the lights covered, but I agree about “Police” signage. Have seen others that simply put an X across the police word with electrical tape and seem to get away with it.

IZH-2715 vans were used by regional units of the USSRs Ministry of Internal Affairs as 'mobile technical control points' (PPTCs).  The PPTK vehicles were installed with equipment to measure light beams, exhaust composition, breathalysers, brake efficiency etc.

SAMU = service d’aide médicale urgente - Paris. Looks like the police ran it at some time, nowadays it's just normal ambulances.
