Looking at the pictures however, makes me draw the conclusion that you departed from Blomstermåla.

I think you’re going north, Linköping is just over 2,5 hours away.

You are a clever man but the  journey will not end in Linköping.

We had a bit of an episode when the bus driver ignored the big signs that said that the road was closed between Blomstermåla and Högsby due to roadwork. He had to reverse back to Blomstermåla before he could turn around. Then he ignored the diversion signs and instead of turning left at Coop in Blomstermåla he went all the way out to Ålem. By this time his driving style had changed, I’ve never experienced g-forces like this when cornering in a bus before.

Ha en travlig resa! :)

I remember first seeing Audi 100 Avants on British roads when I was young. They looked very futuristic.

I’m guessing a Peugeot 304 diesel.

Nope! Time for a clue I guess. When this car was produced the maker was under foreign ownership. Bad idea for all involved. If I buy this car it will become the first car I own with a Turbo charged petrol engine under the bonnet.

Not tried a UK MegaBus then? Our kids call them the Vomit Comet for good reason.

Car is a late Rover 220 Turbo Coupe?

1997 Saab 900 Turbo?

One of you is closer than the other.
UK MegaBus is sadly unfamiliar too me. But with all your roundabouts every 30 seconds I can guess the horrors.

The makers owner was not an American company by the way.

Will soon arrive in Linköping. The seller will pick me up in a black MG 4.

Hmm, this was a tough one!

I’d guess a Rover 620 Ti then?

A little bit of miscommunication… I’m still standing at the train station in Linköping…

So Rightnider, this is the mysterious car I’ve been talking about.

And was Hans a nice guy?

Hans was nice!

The car is a 1995 2,0 TI. Sold new in Italy and imported to Sweden in 2005 if I remember correctly. 140 000 kilometres from new. Hans bought it from English car care via Bilweb auctions. Some electrical problems like the electric windows and the electric seats and it has an weeping water pump but otherwise it’s completely solid. I had a really nice drive home.
