Renner Espaz dizzler for sale/swap/part-ex.

1998 Renner Grand Espaz 2.2 turbo dizzler. MOT September 2010, taxed until end of March.

Exceptionally tidy and runs extremely well. Seven seats (all of which can go forward/back), cave like interior, alloys, two sunroofs, electric windows/mirrors, steering wheel controls for stereo, more storage space than most houses, towbar/electrics, roof bars blah, blah blah.

Starts first crack everytime, no signs of any oil/water mixture or loss. and runs nicely.

Interior/exterior is really, really clean. Almost entirely dent and scratch free.

I don't even normally like Renaults, especially diesels but this is a nice motor.

Known faults:

Multi CD changer thing doesn't seem to work but Radio 2 does and that's all that matters to me.

O/s/r door doesn't lock, assume central locking fault.

Hole in exhaust and cat looks like it's been welded up in the past. the exhaust is NOT noisy at all and the hole could probably be welded/filled/whatever.

Mileage might put some off, it's about 184,000 I think. I promise if you come and see this and try it out you'll think it's done about 50,00 miles.

That really is about it but any trial/inspection is welcomed and if you live miles away feel free to ask anyone you like who lives nearer to come and check it out and report back to you in private. I do NOT tell lies or rip people off.

It's in Chester, Cheshire very close to M53/A41/M56/A55/A56 and within very easy reach of M6, M60, M62, A483 etc.

£1295 ono, offers welcomed.

Ideally I'd like some sort of retro type car as a swap or cheaper part-ex. Open to suggestion but needs to have MOT and be useable 'as is'. Any age and most things considered. Preference given to something with four or five doors and manual box. Not even remotely interested in VWs/Fiats/modern Rovers/Escorts/Kas and Mondeos. Especially Mondeos. Really extra especially Mondeos.

That's a lot of metal for the money. Doesn't look like it's had too hard a life either. Best o' luck, Cav.

Does it have rear electric seats that need a jumpstart? Or are they for threatening the kids?:lol::lol:

Fucking EPIC, the gear lever cable/s have thrown their hand in. Now stuck in 3rd (I think it's 3rd), local garage say it'll want either a new cable/s or the old one putting back on and they're too busy to do it at the moment. £550-ish as it stands anyone? Can still be heard running and driven (in whatever gear it's in :D ) but you'd have to transport it home. You mustn't call the AA/RAC/WhiteFlag though and tell them it's just happened and get them to bring it back, because that would naughty

Bumhats Mr.Mad - however at £550 would this be a contender for mr Tontops and his need for a van?Buy espazz. get cable fixorated, sell seats to someone with ripped set - van it for however long then flog on as a van - the main advatage of the espazz over a white van is free trips down the local tip....

There's only 2 cables on these Billy and you dont need a degree in mechanics to pop them back on or change the complete unit on these. I'd be tempted to have a look at it before taking such a hit on the price. Although if I had the money I'd be on my way up at that price.

Thanks. I'm a mechanical chimp to be honest and sod's law the garage my lad (trainee) works at is about six miles away.Sod driving it all that way in 3rd lol!

You can do it out the back of your house mate, have some confidence in yourself. If you can get that shitty metro running half decent a few years ago, you'll find this a breeze...

Posted

LOL@ shitty Metro!I'll do a Google and try and get my lad to help, cheers.
