Peugeot 605 Sldt 1996 - £50

Hi all, read you every day at lunch but don't get involved, thought someone could do something worthwhile with this example of what our Gallic friends do best.

Belongs to a colleague of mine who loves it dearly

Bought new by his dad and passed onto Mark, this absolutely adored motor would make someone a fine mode of transport.

The alternator has stopped charging the battery so there's a fault in there somewhere. Mechanically it does everything it should but the traditional electrical gremlins are there, windows are erratic, dash lights come and go. It's never let him down though. :)

Mileage is long and Mark has a new baby and no driveway so unfortunately it won't be getting fixed.

Has a bit of T&T and it'll drive in the daytime... 8) so come and get it.

The £50 is for his son's piggy bank as he's missing out on what should be his inheritance and it's less than it will get at the bridge.

Mark just wants to see it live on, either in this country, or I'm sure they'd love it in Africa!

Located in Brighton. Please no messing around as it's a genuine offer that Mark stands to lose cash on.

call or text me, James, on 07861 258 268 or pictonroad at hotma1l . c0 . uk

I like the 'engorged 405' looks of the 605, I could really go for one if the right one came up.

"I know, lets make an ever so slightly bigger version of the 405 that no-one will buy".These look huge from the rear.

I seem to remember a story in the papers about Geoffrey from Rainbow driving a Minicab to make ends meet a few years back,he was pictured with a 605.Or maybe I imagined it

No rot to speak of by the looks of it, new brushbox for the alternator, what`s that gonna be, £50? Can`t imagine it would be an MOT disaster, come on someone snap this up I don`t want to have to trail all the way down there for it!I took a chance on a cheap 605 SRTi with hardly any test a couple of years back, ended up with a lovely user for a few weeks then a nice £500 wage.

How soon does he need it gone? I'd have it (Brighton ain't that far really, I bought the little red Colt from there last year) but I can't do owt this weekend as got too much on.

Next weekend is ok but, and I'm not being rude. I'll leave it up this weekend, see if anyone can move straight away before making promises....
