Early metro for sale????

Something tells me this car isn,t as early as it looks,but i,am sure i,il get told otherwise...

Later wheels,thought real early ones where Mini metros and is this the ultimate pov spec(has rear wiper been added on an L)

Interior looks right, apart from the steering wheel, which suggests to me that at some point someone has pulled a few bits (steering wheel, wheels, boot lid) off a later car and stuck it on this one.

I thought all the first Metro's were called MiniMetro's?, I most likely wrong though and that is very early, Quite desirable really, No wonder Pog loves it.

i think its great,and it 15 mins away,seller wants rid ASAP i think,but agreed,a few later parts are fitted but easy removed,whats it worth??Shame its had 8 owners,surprising,8 owners 39k.

Looks familar, I'm sure this one has been on the 'bay' before. Metros are a bit of a bargin buy, even the mint low milage ones don't seem to fetch more than £600, unless it's a MG Turbo.

Steering wheel should look like this, boot lid also later one. Otherwise looks OK, with only a little rust on door bottoms.

Metros were indeed miniMetros until 1982. I had one of the last.

Tailgate is still the original - check out out the screenwasher postition - this was changed to the top of the screen in the summer of 81 - this is still in the lower position. With a bit of detailing this could be a honey!!

That is one early Metro. Wheels are off an 84 onwards one, I think. Otherwise pretty straight.

Looks ace that W REG would win all 'whos got the oldest Metro' comps unless some clever sod turned up with a V-reg prototype one.

I know whos got a V reg metro,i don,t actually know him,but hes got one..The e-bay one is about 6 weeks into production,think it could be beaten on the earliest fron,t,but still very early.
