Does your Countach look a bit frugal with its slippery shape and high gearing?

Step 1: Gear it down

Step 2: Brick-like shape on top

Step 3: Lets off-road! 8)

Now it's very easy to jump to conclusions about the honesty of sellers, or the reason they've acquired a car. I wouldn't do that, or make any assumptions about the honesty of the seller here

this vehicle is spares only and has not got a v 5 or any docs

most of the vehicle is complete and i am sure that there are a lot of realy rare parts to go at

s'funny that the chassis plate has worn out.

please no time wasters or daft questions !!!!!!!!!

I have two questions; do you own another Land Rover, and are you fed up paying road tax for it?

For any period drama set in the late 1970s, here's a quick note - not everyone drove cars a year old, most of the roads were filled with crap like this

ITS MONDAY NIGHT... WELCOME TO WTF!

I drove past this yesterday! It's even more revolting in real life.

7 people in there, it's going to feel like being on the Northern Line at 8am

It looks like a Hot Wheels car

OMG!!1! Is that RWD??!1

Engine seems to be lengthwise rather than transverse so perhaps it does drive the rear wheels, albeit very gently :D

Yep, they were RWD. Actually, I'm amazed there's any left, 'cos there were hordes of them on the oval, with a 1600 X-flow in; or sprinted with a 4-AGE in. Its' excess of doors has probly saved it. That one needs saved, tho' I wouldn't imagine the parts are easy to come by now.

This is either hellishly wrong x10, or proper Autoshite. I'm not sure; please read the persuasive write up, and tell me. No really, I can't work it out.

Having said that, you could 'one-up' the XR3D, by lobbing a Mazda SLT inhere...

Doesn't get much more 'tat' than this, surely? Can't say I've ever seen one, or even knew they existed. Awesome?

Four and a bit days 'til this sad old heap goes over the bridge (and not to S. Queensferry...): anyone need Commer bits?

I had one of those - mine was a 1300 auto, and that didn't hang about - would imagine they're quite nippy with a manual. And they do go sideways quite well in the wet (on private roads obviously). I paid £150 for mine with T&T though - happier times...

Ms RT's first car was a RWD Starlet. I tried to get her interested in the white one upthread, but no luck.

^^Tell her you'll create a whole Flickr account of her posing in various sarongs with the little Toys, like the Minimilf lady, lol. Maybe she'll have a go then? ("Say no more!")

 If anything, that'd put her off, but it's got to be worth a go.

That is brilliant!, There can't be many other 54 year old 1 owner cars left, I'd love a 100E to potter about in.

If your name was Terry Norman Miller and it was coming up for your 65th birthday then it would make the ideal birthday present hence why it would be worth money to the right person.

Why would such a nondescript plate be worth anything? TNM46. Big deal. Cool car though.

This must be baffling to folks in the US (and it baffles me too, to be honest). In a country where apparently you can have a vanity plate reading 'MY VETTE' or '455BUICK' or 'DONGER' or whatever, I can understand the confusion as to why a UK plate with a meaningless sequence of letters and numbers would have any value at all. It's just because with such a rigid regsitration system within which requests for abnormal (or even pronouncable) combinations commands a premium payment to the licensing authority, any reg number that looks individual is likely to be more sought after. Already covered in far too much depth on another thread. Sorry, back on topic:

I'd like to know what the fuck it's meant to be called..

Jeep Comance

Comance..sure?

JEEP Comanche Pick - UP

COMANCHE Speciallly made

Oh, ok.

Cherokee COMANCE

MAKE YOUR MIND UP MAN!*

To be fair, he's probably a little queezy after taking a look at the interior. I love a bit of brown but this is off my scale.

Comance

A bit bloody rich but I reckon some mong would pay £3k for it. 38000 miles is probably a load of bollocks unless it was off the road (rear ended perhaps?) for a while.

*..Yes I know it's probably Comanche like the heli..

That 100E is incredible. Not a particularly awe inspiring car but remarkable for being with the one owner. I do hope whoever buys it has a conscience and keeps the plate with the car instead of wiping out all that history in one quick-buck-making action.

I somehow doubt it however. :(

So the reg was "valued" at 2800UKP because of the "demand" inherent in people with the initials TNM (what, all 7 of them?) and who were born in 1946 (ooops, none of the 7 were...)? Who is smoking what kind of ganjaweed over there?

UK reg numbers fetch money if they're either aren't age related and/or the fewer charicters the better
