The T-Bird was Stu Baileys (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.) car. He was a private detective.

Kookie (Edd Byrne) was a parking attendant and the neighboring jive bar, Dino's.

The car was built in 1953 by Norm Grabowski, and the car featured in Life Magazine before being used in the TV show.

The car disappeared for almost 50 years but was rediscovered and sold by Mecum Auctions in 2018. It has since been restored and shown at the Pebble Beach Concours
