My Dad had a Ford Pop like that. Same grey but all over . Even the same “Town and Country” tyres on the back.

*Note: The Peugeot 404s in the background. Although they were rivals in their home country, Peugeots were locally assembled by Renault Australia and often shared the same assembly line.

Now here's a surprise  - a Ford Zephyr in Kursk, by the time this photo was taken it had been fitted with a GAZ engine from a Volga.

I once travelled in a Zephyr taxi in Cuba, it had been fitted with an Indenor diesel engine and a Lada Riva back axle.
