Br Bean? Nah, I had a similar jacket, late 70s. Was all* the rage.

It looks just like the one in my wardrobe.

1936 Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic Coupe, chassis number 57453.  This was Jean Bugatti's car. The picture was taken in 1937 after the car won the Juan-les-Pins Concours d'Elegance. Stood in front is William Grover-Williams's wife, Yvonne Aupicq. William Grover-Williams was a British motor car racer, famous for winning the first Monaco Grand Prix.

Production of IZH Planetas in Izhevsk, 1984. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I had one of these attached to a sidecar. It was much better than the sneering press would let you believe, but the kick back was vicious if you got it wrong.

Filming for the TV series of "On The Buses" was based at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
One of the filming 'sound stages' was used as the front of the bus garage.
But also, pieces of filming done 'on location', including the majority of the exterior shots for the film of "On The Buses", were all carried out in and around Borehamwood.
A whole load of stills from the film can be viewed at 'reelstreets' (link below), and here is one of them.
It shows Manor Way, Borehamwood.
