Exhaustive Ebay heads up

I had the centre box for my Stanza off him at the same price, then a week later he listed the back box so I snapped that up too. Full exhaust for £32 all-in, can't complain. Both arrived within a couple of days to boot.

Thanks for this, got two, one for me granny (was quoted £60 at me local place!) and one for a van.

I was just gonna say he's got Stanza stock for Hirst...How's he making money? Everything is at 99p!

Suppose exhausts wouldn't weigh in for much and it's cheaper than hiring a skip.

In fact, I'm going to fill my boots here - practically every obscure vehicle I need (or will soon need) an exhaust for, he's got - including some I've not been able to obtain easily before. Nice!I'm going to be extra-pleased driving the Charmant around tonight. Currently it rasps and parps like an old Minor, soon it'll have a whole new system. Great stuff. My folks will go mental next week I expect, every day there'll be more huge boxes in their hallway to deal with.

Does he discount the postage if you buy a few bits, or is that basically what he’s making the money off?He does have Laurel bits, but as that’s a car I plan to own for A Very Long Time when it eventually needs something I’ll go stainless on it.Regrettably I couldn’t see anything for the Camry – that still seems to be in the domain of ‘proper’ sellers (and therefore prices to match).

£15 postage on the ones I looked at.Selling that amount of stuff, he'll be on a contract, so will be paying around £6 per item.

He is making the money out of postage. £15 to post a silerncer, front pipe or whatever is pretty expensive, not as bad for a full system and if the thing is only 99p then its not a big problem I suppose.

yeah as long as all in they are not more than £20, it's still a bargain....

Did he ram raid a branch of ATS Euromaster I wonder?Damn you impulse buying I have bid on a complete system for a Mk2 mini Metro. I dont have one (yet) but by gods when I get one it will have a non cracked exhaust ( they always go at the point where two downpipes merge).

I remember there being an auction for a lorryload of old exhaust stock a couple of weeks ago, I wonder if he bought that.
