Meh. £1.6 a day.  I'm happy to pay tax if it allows the NHS / Military / Social Care / Roads to be fully funded.

Wasn't gCO2/km only measured formally for approvals post 2001? I would actually be well up for this change. We'd all be fine for our crap cars, and those who have had paid the £20/30 tax for twenty years despite doing stratospheric mileage finally have to pay their dues.
