A BIG SHIT TRUCK

A friend of mine from Canada took and sent me this picture (she was not out walking her dog) knowing full well there’d be someone out there who might appreciate it. No doubt there are other questions but surely one might reasonably ask why is such a large vehicle necessary?

Hmm, yeah good call on why the need for such a big truck. Are those funny inverted domes either side of the top of the wheel arch for deposits? Also, the rear wheel looks pretty cool, like a deep dish 4spoke slotmag 8)

 That's alot of dog turds. What do they DO with them?Having said that, I would actually contemplate paying someone $12.99 a week to come and scrape up the championship plops that my mutts deposit in increasingly sneaky locations in the garden...

in Paris they have a pooper scooter, the operative squirts liquid nitrogen on the turd to freeze it solid then hoovers it up

Beep-beep-beep: this shite is reversing?

why is such a large vehicle necessary

because it's the US....cheap fuel and nowhere near the 'environmental' taxes we get here.

Canada is a big country, lots of dog turds to collect.

A friend of mine used to drive round emptying, ahem, "Feminine Hygiene" bins, at a load of office blocks for a living.

That is when you know you are at rock bottom. Emptying fanny-pad bins has gotta be the worst job in the world. Ever. The smell from them is just abhorrent, imagine driving a truck rammed full of blob-encrusted fanny-pads. Ewwwwwwwwwww.

That's a terrible logo, what is the dog so smug about?

"Yeah I've just done all these here, now I'm going to pick them up with a spade and put them in a bucket, talk about sticking it to The Man".

For crying out loud, proof if proof were needed that some eejits have more money than sense. 100 nappy bags from Boots costs about 40p, wrap your hand in one, grab the offending article and turn the bag inside out over it. Job done, and in the winter it warms your hands up :lol::lol:

Yeah, what exactly do you get for your 12 bucks? A street? A property? A once a week clean? Sounds like poor value to me.....

From $12.99 a week. Say you have 500 customers, thats $6495 a week for picking up dog shit.I think I could almost cope :(

So how does it work then? Do you take your dog out, wait for it to drop one, then call them and they come out to you while you wait? Or do you save them up and they collect once a month? This is one of the reasons I'm a cat person actually, no time or patience to wallk a dog at all hours but also picking up a great steaming turd turns my stomach. I've been out with friends when their German Shepherd has done the most colossal one imaginable and I swear I've been close to throwing up there and then in the street.

You can imagine the UK equivalent can't you. P-reg ex Royal Mail LDV Convoy in faded Pog Pink with white nearside door and gaffa tape on the front bumper. Dayglo yellow Comic Sans signwriting with "Mutt Egg Removal - 99p per chod or 6 for £4.95" and, in smaller font, "Dog Put Down - £8.00" and "Scrap Cars Removed For Free - Tel 0781 811 8181".The accumulated contents being subtly flytipped in a quiet field entrance near you.
