Splendid!!! Excellent deadpan commentary too.

I love that FE estate, looks like a right bag of bolts, I would not change a thing on it!

Great snaps, that show looks proper good. Im looking forward to more shots. That M535i looks familiar, Im certain thats the same one EL, Seth and I have spotted. Im glad Saunders Volvo is still in tip top shape too, its lovely. I think it got sold a few years back?

More..

And I dont really know what's going on with this, it looks rather Barry's Dad but it might be a genuine 'Historic' Touring Car type thing, somebody else probably knows?

Capri Mk1 looked great, Mk2s are growing on me aswell.

'........Tayne...'

Proper TVR, dunno why the bloke has got a Big Ben jumper on.

No stereotypes here.

Posted Image

Owned by Tonka on here.

The 'Probe Club' were there, there's a member on here I believe.

Posted Image

Posted Image

911 Targa, I really like these. They're generally the least desirable 911 out there.

Posted Image

Posted Image

This was pretty.. horrid.

Posted Image

More like it.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Yo it's BIG WEV, innit. This is pretty disappointing. From afar it doesnt look so bad. Whether it's meant to look like one or not, it is very similar to a 911 993 GT2/RSR, which are very desirable. As far as I can tell this is a Heather Mills spec Carrera with add-ons. Desirable to very few.

I'm surprised Big Ron can even fit in this, but still:

I didnt watch A2A, and was ready to ask if it was genuine or a Dialynx to further my cause incase the owner caught me looking, but unfortunately there was a big Dialynx sticker under the bonnet anyway.

Yep, nod..

Difinitely, even if it's been knocked about a bit (NB bonnet shutline)

Yep, these are cool aswell.

Tickford I think.

A winner with those trims.

This looked a bit crap, obviously very shiney but seemed a bit try-hard. Wheels trims were odd too.

I think that MG Metro sometimes appears at Newark Autojumble.

Those are the factory fake rostyle wheel trims on that Vitesse.

Has the bloke by the Volvo just popped a massive bubble gum bubble?

No "unfortunately" in seeing a Dialynx for me. I have first hand stonking experience of one.

The Mk3 Zodiac is definitly a Barry snr project.

Posted

Nice pics the blue 205 auto's mine did you see the DS car of the show valued at £75k so the bloke said il try and get a snap uploaded.

Posted

That Renault 9 Boston is the same one that sold at Anglia Car Auctions classic sale in July.Sold for £530 then and been on ebay a couple of times since.

Thanks for all the comments, very much appreciated. I've maybe got 20 more pics to show, but they're mostly newer TVRs.

Sorry Seth, you've mis-understood. Dont have a problem with Dialynx' at all - but any chance of appearing to know about them was 'unfortunately' hampered by the fact there was a big sticker announcing the conversion to all. I'm somewhat jealous of your experience!

The trims did look very much fake..

Cheers, Greg.

Lovely car.. I really do like 2 door Mk3s, shame they're so rare these days. Would definitely like one in the fleet for a while.

I'd heard people moaning about Photobucket's changes. First time using it now and I seemed to be getting on fine with the new set up, except for it seemingly deleting a few spots I was looking forward to posting which I'm sure I'd previously uploaded. Fuck knows, maybe I'm having a spaz.

More old spots for you anyway, hopefully providing a moment's entertainment

RS2k under there, somebody else has spotted it on here - possibly Seth:

DSC01312.jpg

I got that urge to peep over the fence, not because I am a perv (not that I am not a perv) but the Shiter scent was strong.

DSC01314.jpg

I definitely wasnt expecting that, but not all that exciting is it. I do like those Corvettes though and a waste to be sat there. The trolley which I've only just noticed looks pretty cool though.

DSC01315.jpg

This looked Cortina looked rather nice:

DSC01322.jpg

Wasnt alone either:

DSC01317.jpg

DSC01318.jpg

No offence to the jaunty angled, reflected in a quarter bumper pic takers on here but I dont get what the fuss is about, here's my effort anyway:

DSC01319.jpg

Yep, roof tops of houses on the roof top of a car + Cortinas. Sit on that.

Still on the same road, this has been for sale since the pic was taken, possibly for around £2k. I was excited to see this, I dont remember these Civics at all and was the first I've knowingly seen for ages.

DSC01321.jpg

Panda Alessi, not seen one before or since - I thought it looked nice to be honest although I have a bit of a thing for Fiats:

DSC01323.jpg

Yummy, I hope this is still on the road as it looks class.

Oh heck. I was wrong, 520i innit. Apparently 73mpg at 125 mph

This looked more full of splodge than Marc Almond. Felt sorry for it:

Not on the DVLA comp for some reason, probably dead.

These are a bargain in my eyes, I dont care if they cost a billion quid to run. Not shite but needed to take a pic: NB G-Wiz that I am not talking about in the background

It almost hurts me to look at this. It's epic and I dont want it to die, ever.

...Well, I hope it's still there.

You cant quite see how cack these were, I wish I'd taken more pics now. In quite close proximity so possibly related..:

The first, from a-far, looks in fairly good nick. It's proud, but frayed around the edges and knows it's end is near but going out in style.

DSC01332.jpg

The second is, well, you tell me? That uncle you have who doesnt give a shit and your parents disown? The weird bloke you see on the way to work; with shopping bags filled with.. shopping bags?

You??

That's it for now, PB is DEAD MEAT.

I think they have sorted most of the problems. Check your default album, 'cause that's where most of my photos have ended up, despite it telling me it was uploading to the "correct" place!

Anyway Cortina Estate looks nice and must be very rare now.

Posted

Normally I would recommend flickr to everyone but it costs like £18 a year for unlimited uploads, which isnt bad considering how easy it is to use... photobucket is different though.

Nice spots though, that Cortina trio is incredible! As is the Civic, the only one I have seen recently was at a museum. Bluebird looks fantastic in that colour, and with those wheels.

I love Flickr, but it's not as easy to post images here from it as it is with Photobucket ATM. :(

That Panda Alessi is hideous.

brown Mk2 Tina estate FTW.

Flickr hasn't changed, its still 3 keystrokes.

I think you'll find it has changed, but ......

Their T&C do state you should only use the html rather than the jpg URLs. :(

Edit: Just trying their new "share this code" :-

I've never had the slightest bother with photobucket, its great.

Class spots Gomp, excellent commentary as well. I find the commentary can make or break a spot and you are showing us how its done.

Posted

Some really cool spots there; as has been said already, all-hail the Tina trio! I remember when there was a Cortina that looked like those in every street. Nice Avenger Tiger too.

All comments are appreciated guys.

If I get to a time when I can get regular spots again I'll consider Flickr, but it does seem a pain in the arse/over the top when I browse other's streams.
