For me, the sweet spot of shite manufacturing was between 1973 and 2002.

Actually this covers all the cars (4) that I currently own and I have never owned anything more recent.

I don't mean to be unkind to the poor bland but competent Focus, it is a great little car but it'll be another decade at least before I find it interesting. Or until there aren't many left, which ever comes first
