Is the fuel filler neck original? The top of the boot seal doesn't look watertight. Lovely though...

Nice 'advisory' on the MOT (not mot at the moment) "corrosion all over the underside"....

Well... "paint generally all over the upper surfaces" :)

Shit, that's only 5 miles away.

Yeah but no but yeah, it's test exempt in two years time so you won't need to worry about all that

Wow... not sure I'd have bought one new in 1982, but in 2019 that starts to look interesting! Full of tango-goodness :)

Personally I reckon it's about £2k over what it wants to be.

I keep looking at the advert though.

I like that. Quite nice motors Allegro's.

I knew a few people who had them & they all liked them. I even remember a bloke in the 1980's who still had one with the quartic steering wheel, that funnily enough the motoring press slagged off to hell but now the quite similar flat bottomed wheels seem to appear on quite a few cars & don't warrant a comment.

Always seemed to last better bodily rust wise, than the equivalent Fords.

The early ones with the chrome bumpers are definitely prettier - and offer even more astonishing colours from the decade of real colour: the 1970s! :D
