I met a guy who had purchased an early 704cc 2 cylinder one, I think it was a Polish import that had found its way here. 31hp.

Well a set of plugs hasn’t fixed the cold misfire . Leads don’t look great so might just change them anyway . Or so the darkness spark test . 
Got a feeling of impending doom - landy had “ just a misfire “ ended up being cam followers , cam , cam bearings etc etc . ?

They can do OMFGHGF on the OHV, as it went on mine, but not as frequently as a FIRE.

That's an absolute honey and identical to one I had many years ago. I'll have to pop in and have a look at some point. If it's there when I drop the Rover off, I'll have a good nosey at it.

Mine did a head gasket while I had it, but easy to change. It never failed again and I knew the car for several years because I sold it to a friend's daughter.

Not long after I sold my Cinquecento S would not run any longer, turned out the girl has reversed into an earth bank and filled the tailpipe and just to make sure kinked it over as well!
