Put it this way , I refuse to spend my hard earned dosh only for them to bollox it up whem im perfectly capable of bolloxing it up myself for a fraction of the cost , if id spent the customary 2 grand on a respray id wondnt be too chuffed with this , however im well chuffed as its cost about a ton , theres a few kamikazi flies stuck here and there but it seems to T cut up really nice , heres the same wing now :D

Looks really good. I sprayed my car with an electric sprayer and royally ballsed it up. I get the impression you put more effort into prep than I did.

8) That does look pretty good! Impressed! What sort of spray gun was it? Been thinking that one might not be a bad investment for the future having read Mr_B's RR thread on his Crab.

Its a Wagner W800 , seperate compressor type thing with a long flexi pipe that fits into the spray gun , turn it on and air blasts up said pipe eventually warmish if its been running a while and so sprays paint , quite good really for what it is , sprayed all my fence panels and my home made shed with it as well

Nice job! Is that fab little van a bit of a 'Heinz 57' creation? it looks to be an imp van with windows in the side and Sunbeam stiletto frontage, or am I barking up the wrong tree!.....

Oh good. I've just had some rot cut out of the 2CV and replaced with actual metal. I was worried for a moment and thought I'd have to get it undone and replaced with gaffer tape!

Stirling work its a lovely little car/combi/van, I'd love to try and paint a car especially as I'm finding loads of little annoying 'faults' with the paintwork on my recently resprayed Mini. What are them there wheels all about? what are they orf? quite nice they is.

That look really good, it's a better finish out the gun than my Earlex job - is this the Wagner that came top in a Practical Classic electric sprayer test a few years ago?

Is that a small front rad/heater matrix I spy in the 3rd picture?

Thats an HVLP system and they are bloody good, earlex do one as well that you can get from machine Mart for about £50 + vat

It is , used to get a bit warm in REALLY hot weather , so in a true autoshite manor i bodged in an old imp heater matrix , i can turn it on / off via a screwdriver as ive used bits of house plumbing from B @ Q ( those things you fit for taps etc ) , heater itself turns on / off the same way , the factory valve sprung a leak years ago so thats sealed up with a two pence piece soldered in as its an integral part of the heater , True bodging in my book
