Headgasket done on this so just an electrical fault to fix. Should be a piece of piss* surely? Bollox's next project Rover?

Very new I know but could be a bargain for someone in Londonshire due to lack of description. MOT'd, 77 quid with 2 days to go.

Old Lightening McQueen's looking a bit shite these days! I do hope this is not a new craze set to sweep the country...

This has been on a couple of times - it looks like a pretty good value K series Midget, it's even got the 1.8, which is great...

until

the engine is fitted up to the original midget box which

... will explode if you floor the throttle?

If that 728i was a sport like advertised it'd be worth the money but it isn't so it isn't.

Have you ever seen so much stuff in one photo?

The general condition is fair

the car was recovered from an accident where the near side front wing was badly damaged. There is some minor damage to the chassis

I cannot access the interior but looking through the windows I notice there is mildew on the seats

The general condition is fair

The owner recovered this from an accident and hoped to restore it himself but life got in the way. He is an honest and fair man and the starting price [£750] reflects what he paid for the vehicle in 1978.

... and I thought my investments were under performing.

How clean does this look!

in my watch list but a shame it's so far away. I can't help but want one of these very, very badly

The person listing this should be honest and fair and tell the owner he's a hopeless dolt.

I bought one of these with a long MOT in 1998 and it was probably worth more then than that ebay one after the crash in 1978. I paid £150.

In 2007, I drove this H van to Sweden. Via France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. We visited Norway for good measure.

I never want to drive it again, but it certainly was an adventure! 3100 miles in three weeks, and it didn't move for six days of that. Here it is in Norway.

I love how quickly these came down from plutocrat money to shitter territory. Not a particularly good example this, it looks like it's had a tough 7 years but it's near me. Wheels look like driver treats the curb like a sort of Scalextric slot. And the check engine light's on. And it's got outstanding finance.

I would SMASH one of those Phaetons, spesh a TDi one, they seem to be the best VFM out there, full stop

I'm having a serious mass debate about not getting another lease car when my Merc goes back and getting one of these Phaetons. I looked at it before and the general consumables for servicing and brakes are arent devistating and available through the factors because of the VAG parts bin re-use. It's the phaeton specific bits that are expensive.

Re. Phaetons,I know a couple of people who use them for work and they swear by them. The VAG bits are relatively cheap ,but things like brakes are only shared with RS4/6's and Continental GT''s so not Lupo cheap.

I considered one a couple of years ago but bought the Chrysler instead, just been looking on Autotrader at them again, maybe now's the time before it's too late as my cars have to be less than 6 years old and nobody buys them new any more !
