front floor n/s and o/s corroded within 30 cms of susapension

I see. Forget about the front wings, this one will need some serious welding now or very soon. Be prepared to replace most of the front floor...

Early V6 XM with the manual gearbox and pretty high spec, you don't see them very often in white! No MOT but the list of issues doesn't sound too terrible either!

I seem to remember from my time working a Citroen indy that the early XM V6 24v had issues with the oil pumps leading to clanking camshafts.

Apparently the casing of the pump is actually the block, and when they wear it's a new engine job.

Wow!

My eyes are like saucers right now

Not unlike the look that beauty is giving me

I've seen this quite a few times as it lives in a neighbourhood not so far from me.

It really is a lovely thing, and I generally get a wave from the hipster custodian.

They do, but I'm pretty sure this is a 12 valve.

I bought this last year after  it had been stored for around 30 years, After transporting it from the Isle of wight I completed a huge amount of work to re-commission the car. I have been driving it regular but its developed a oil leak from the auto transmission, probably the seal and will require changing this requires the engine and gearbox removed to do so, I am driving the car but topping up with fluid when required. sometimes leaks sometimes it dont ive just added some stop leak and will run it it may help or fix it. Everything works spent a fortune and hundreds of hours so far on this car.
