I never thought I'd say this, but I think he genuinely would have been better off forking out for a brand new car.

Back bumper is missing unfortunately - I asked - but otherwise it doesn't look in too bad nick from the photos, and it doesn't have hideous chrome arch covers to disguise grot either.

I'd need a healthy dose of antidepressants to be able to sit in this for more than 3 minutes without committing suicide.

Add spending 7k in 3 years for upkeep alone and I start to understand what makes people go on a killing spree before they end their own life.

^^^^^^^ sat in a SAVVY?? At least mine has leather seats! Plastics are grey, feel like the sides of a photocopier... NO softTouch anywhere.

Adding a few dead animals painted grey to the mix certainly helps to dampen spirits to hitherto unknown lows, so you should definitely consider gun ownership.

It's amazing how cheerful beige is in comparison:

The successful bidder didn't bother to come as he hadn't realised that Hartlepool is not particularly close to Devon.

 

 

My gratitude to the comedian who offered £500 just minutes after I listed the car, who then agreed a price of £550, who then received a satisfactory answer to his pressing concern about the centre console (apparently old ones go sticky - mine isn't sticky) who then stopped communicating and didn't honour his bid. He was from Cornwall and I don't share his sense of humour at all. My apologies for this little rant but if Devon isn't close to Hartlepool then neither is ...........

 

Oh do I know where you are coming from, Sir.

Now, what is close to Hartlepool then?
