1967 Singer Chamois - Picture 1 of 12

1967 Singer Chamois | eBay UK

£400/best offer

Oddly enough, was watching an old episode of Bangers & Cash last night, and one of these appeared.  Legit always thought it was pronounced (Singer) 'Sham Oi' but they were insisting it's 'Sham wah' or something like that.

It seems odd to see a 'SteaminGimp' @ £happy valley prices 😮

Fair enough, rust notwithstanding, a refurb will be ££ for n.o.s./rocky horse parts.

Get rid of any pretence of "Ferrari replica" and just go with what it actually is (a kit car pastiche of a 60s GT Fastback, based on an MX5) and I like it. It's in desperate need of more appropriate wheels, and I'm not into the paint either. Some of these MX5 kits have really bad proportions too, with huge overhangs front and rear.

Never really quite 'got' these, tbh.

I like them. The MIVEC 2.0 v6 was interesting and they were generally "high tech" in their day. Apparently the engine doesn't have much more to give than the 200hp, they're were never "fast" and they're almost all knackered now. Probably a really nice car back in '94 or whatever.

Very rare!

Very rare too, but a scary drive! Fun, tho...

There's one in an Australian film called 'Malcolm'. The owner chops it in half and converts the two halves into motorbike power...
