eBay tat volume 3.

Hey Billy, if you are still feeling the urge to bid on something Vauxhall-related, I'm pretty sure these use Corsa B rear lights.  This is actually pretty cheap for one of these with plenty of T&T - no way I'm masochistic enough to drive it home from Blackpool though.

Look at the state of this thing. An easy weekends project for someone with access to miracles.

A grand seems pretty steep for this since Tagorasx's V4 was only around twice that IIRC and didn't have a stoved in roof and ruined paintwork. Or are the original Wankel engines worth a lot on their own?

I'd defo have a v6 one if it came up.

V6 is the way to go - petrol rather than CDTi though.  If you must have a diesel one, the 1.9 is probably the least worst.  A mate has a 1.9 CDTi with a 6-speed 'box and a tuning chip, and it's really not that much slower than my 3.2 pez estate.

This looks cheap for one of these with a bit of test left.  I know these things are a bit rubbish, but they must be due to start going up in price soon despite that?

The car has only had two owners from new,  with my grandfather purchasing the car in 1980.   It would appear that he wasn’t satisfied with the performance of the car with it’s 80bhp 3-litre 5-pot engine,  and he arranged to have it converted to a turbo-diesel by Janspeed Engineering,  resulting in what I would imagine to be closer to the 123bhp of the factory 300D turbos released in 1981.

This looks pretty good value at £695 bin or are these worth shit all/impossible to work on/just crap? No MOT and tax like but still not a lot of cash.

I think the looks keep the values down, they are supposed to be good to drive though, the 1800. Turbo is thought to be the one to have.

Fark me, fourteen hundred quid?  I got given one identical to that a few years back - I say identical, but to be fair one of the front wings was metallic grey, but other than that it was exactly the same.  Bloke had it sat on his driveway, just needed a new battery, I ended up driving it all the way through the winter and selling it in the spring.  Utterly reliable, but probably the least sporting sports car I've ever driven - and I once owned a Hyundai S Coupe.

When I worked at the auctions it was either one of these or a Ligier that I literally couldn't fit in. I would absolutely drive this back home 70 odd miles if I could though. Just not on the M6.

This looks like it got divorced 10 years ago, and has since been on a downward spiral into alcoholic depression, kipping on mates' sofas and living off biscuits.

However it's a 300E with a long ticket, 55k and stands at £122 with two days left, so def worth rescuing before it makes with the chair and noose.
