If I had this I'd just cruise up/down Skegness boulevard keeping dixie for sultry Italian birds with sunglasses, headscarves and long dark hair. I'd then park up next to the pavilion at night and just as the Chuckle Brothers were reaching their climax inside, I'd be in the car park having rodeo sex with her. I wouldn't have to worry about the coppers as I'd be far too cool to be arrested. Then when it was all over I'd stick her knickers in the glovebox, ask her to go round the back of the car to check my brake lights and LITERALLY wheelspin off chucking up sand, icecream cones and seagull shit in her face as I crank up the Matt Munroe and smoke a fag.

This looks pretty good value at £695 bin or are these worth shit all/impossible to work on/just crap? No MOT and tax like but still not a lot of cash.

One for the Late Registration Madness thread?

Doesn't seem particularly cheap for a non-running, MoT-less example of what is probably the least desirable SD1 spec, but maybe I'm just out of touch with the price of these things nowadays.

I believe there are about 3 of this model in country.

I am also led to believe this is the 6 bolt crank model for all people who know about these cars.

i am told same engine as in one of the evo range

i have no idea on what cars worth

i get asked allsorts of questions about it when filling up with fuel.

Sounds like the conversation is probably slightly one sided as you don't appear to actually know anything about the car other that what you have been told.

I might email him and say that this looks like it might actually be the car that was owned by Nicole Simpson before she was murdered by O.J. as it was sold shortly after the trial and was presumed to have been exported to the UK.

YES!!!! £12,000 (RNM) opening bid for this 3 year old copy of a PT cruiser that someone has made into a van.

It gets a lot of interest as nobody has ever seen a Chevy HHR Panel, being so rare in this country and also gets interest from railway enthusiasts.

RAILWAY ENTHUSIASTS???? WHERE DO I SIGN

To redress the balance, this is salty but lovely.  Early model so has the wanky cheap-ass door mirrors totally unbefitting what was, at the time, a 7 grand car - when a decent-spec 2-litre Granada would set you back about half that amount.  Shame it doesn't have the horrid 2-spoke steering wheel the early ones also had.

My back-garden climbing frame circa 1983 by the looks of the tube diameter and colour.

A real bargain 1.3 belmont not many left on the road full mot can tax at your cost needs a little paint on the rear arches thats it very cheap to run. Swap for VW only or £595 cash.

No idea if this is overpriced or not, but these little things do seem to be creeping up in value now nobody can afford a 500 any more.

K956TLB was first registered on 8th December 1992.  It was supplied new, to the first keeper, by Dunstonian Garage Ltd of Orpington, Kent. K956TLB remained in Orpington until being sold to it's second keeper, a Mr. Peter Popper of Barnet, on 22nd May 1997. It remained in the ownership of Mr. Popper until being sold to a Mr. Hadley Green on 6th January 1998.  Mr Hadley Green is the proprietor of a Bentley, Jaguar and Land Rover dealership in Barnet and he used K956TLB sparingly over the next 14 years.  Its sole purpose was to transport Mr. Hadley Green's model aircraft to and from flying displays.  I purchased K956TLB from Mr. Hadley Green on April 18th 2012.

MY NAME IS K956TLB

Does look a cracking car to be fair to the lad.
