Late 405 2.0 SRi with only 25000 miles for £299.

Given how rare these have become I would be seriously tempted. However, total MONG photos keep me away from going to an area I prefer to avoid, unless I have a genuine reason to go there.

I rather FINANCE an Audi in Stockport, or stick my face in a running lawnmower, than inspect a 405 the seller of which is very obviously a London deadfuck. That's how bad things became down there. Is anyone on here still holding out in these digs to have a look at it?

Well, I thought so.

The seller claims the exterior is in good condition but neglects to mention the massive fuck off dent in the OSR door. Perfect bell end.

Have you seen the rear bumper (or 'bumber' as it is customary to refer to that component nowadays)?

Then take a closer look at the offside headlight washer.

Also note that not a single photograph of the interior was offered.

I have no problem with fixing all these things. It's those total wankstains claiming a car is 'immaculate' I'm sick and tired to deal with.

I just don't want to meet them. Especially not in a place as straining as London. I wouldn't have had a £27 breakfast yet, which makes me aggressive by default, and in addition to that I would have to talk to someone with a single eye centred on his forehead. And somehow, the whole thing would turn out as if it was my fault to have killed him in affect, despite it was the only reasonable thing to do.

The car is tremendously rare though and well worth preserving. I hope it gets banger raced.

Forgot to mention. I called about this on Friday. It was still available then. Parked up when four years old. Chap bought it, but hadn't gone out to buy it and so it got garaged. All a bit odd. I was meant to phone back about it on Saturday but that didn't quite happen and now I'm fixating on something entirely different.

So let me get that right , it sold but the person who bought it hasn't colleted it ?

No, sorry. The tale of it being stashed away is from 1986. It was bought, then just parked up. As far as I know, it's still available.

Someone should start a charity fund for rx-8 owners (cash4wankels.com??) or they should be able to claim something back from Mazda in a PPI type money grab as they are seemingly totally worthless. There's bound to be someone who bought one 2 years ago for 6 grand or something and now have to sell their TV and work the nightshift mopping toilets in McDonalds to try to make up some negative equity.
