On the subject of fit Dolly birds check this aura of browness out, it's so hot that I'm going to have to look at a photo of the mother in law just to calm myself down.

I purchased this car 11th March 2011 to use the tax exempt identification in the restoration of a USA import which had been manufactured in 1973 (and therefore not tax exempt).  With the announcement in the budget this year, I will not be requiring this car any more as my roadster will be tax exempt from April onwards.

I'd have phrased that slightly differently, I'd have said "I bought this as a project but I don't have the time"... you know, so it didn't sound so dodgy.

Obviously on purchase this car would need to be trailered however if all you require is the chassis number tag, the commission number tag with the engine tag or the complete engine I will gladly palletise this and deliver to you (£65) and scrap the rest of the vehicle for your ease.

That's another way to go with it.

This is cool.

I thought this seller's photos were in black and white. His entire stock just happens to be monochrome and he photographs them in an environment entirely drained of colour.

Do I see this correctly that that idiot just admitted in the public domain that he intended to commit a crime and now tries to incite someone else to do it?

What is the legal situation here in this country?

you can sell a vin etc for 'nostalgia purposes' - thats legal

but if you state its for ringing, or the buyer tells you thats why they are buying it, thats a crime committed

Well yes but this fellow was pretty clear that his intentions were to be naughty:

In other words, the chap is a wally, not to mention a complete and utter silly billy. He could easily have said that he wanted it for nostalgia purposes but now he has changed his mind or something. Everyone who is in the market for such a thing would get the idea anyway.

I am a qualified internet lawyer and in fact, the legal situation is that this guy is indeed committing a criminal act as defined by section 4.3 of the ‘thick bastards act’ (1964). The crime is actually not one of fraud but rather of admitting one’s terminal stupidity to the general public, as demonstrated by failing to see the very obvious reasons why you might not want to tell the entire world of your abandoned intention to defraud the chancellor of road duties he would be due by use of this car on a public highway.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fuckwit than to speak out and remove all doubt.

So it is perfectly legal to change the VIN of a car to an older one so it becomes tax exempt?

Does anyone have the VIN of an L reg or earlier Series II P6 V8 please?
