That Astra is the spit of mine, save for the "other" colour - I'm told there was a run of emerald green and that red in 1990, all with a light hood and odd spec involving windy windows, full leccy instruments, power headlamp washers, manual hood. 

 

Mine also needed some metal behind the plastic sills.

Now that SVA and the like has put the kibosh on shitty 70's kit cars held together with woodscrews and the like, the TRIKE seems to be the last bastion of the totally fuggin clueless home 'mechanic'. Its seemingly the only way a man can legally get a total flaming deathtrap on the road nowadays, which is a shame if you ask me.

I've been a fan of these ever since R9UKE had his one and said the interior would seem like the height of luxury to anyone whod' recently escaped from a Turkish prison. This one's £400 BIN on an 03 plate which in my eyes makes it an almost new car.

Captain Slow just this minute pointed out the two-tone Princess to me.  Am I glad I don't have any spare cash or what!  If I were planning to buy a third one, that would be it.
